NUCLEARWAKEUPCALL.EARTH

Lessons for Today from the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis

Bruce presents a case study and simulation drawing key lessons from what has been called “the most dangerous moment in human history”—until now. Bruce played a key role in bringing together top decision makers from the 1962 Cuban missile crisis for a series of unprecedented face-to-face dialogues in Cambridge (1987), Moscow (1989), and Havana (1992). He draws on his own rich personal experience to bring the event to life and highlight the profound lessons for 2018 from this historic nuclear wake-up call.
